Israeli raids in Tubas and Rafat in the West Bank: a 20-year-old arrested

Israeli forces arrested a 20-year-old Palestinian in Tubas in the occupied West Bank, after raiding his family’s home, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, cited by Al Jazeera.

According to Wafa, several Israeli military patrols entered Tubas, deployed in parts of the town and searched a number of homes.

In a separate incident early on Saturday, Israeli forces raided the village of Rafat, west of Salfit, searching several Palestinian homes and damaging their furniture. No arrests were reported during the raid.

The incidents come on the same day as the large-scale raid on the town of Burqa near Nablus, where dozens of Palestinians were detained.
