Israeli forces detained dozens of Palestinians during a military raid on the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, cited by Al Jazeera.

Troops entered the town at dawn, detaining dozens of young men and holding them for questioning in public in the town square.

According to reports, several worshippers are also being held inside a local mosque, while their immediate condition remains unclear.

Israeli raids in the West Bank have increased significantly in recent months, in parallel with the escalation of the regional war.
