Caitlin Clark marked the end of her third season in the WNBA, with final statistics showing her impact in both points and assists. After the final game with Indiana Fever, the team is preparing for the playoff games with high expectations for its star’s performance.

According to Bleacher Report, Clark finished the season averaging 22.3 points per game, shooting around 44.5 percent with 8.3 assists per game, ranking third in scoring and second in assists in the league. She averaged around 31.1 minutes, with about 4.0 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 0.5 blocks per game.

The Indiana star had a very strong final stretch before the last challenge, averaging 30.2 points and 10.0 assists over the final five games of the season. However, in the final matchup against the Minnesota Lynx she had a difficult shooting night (1 of 12, just 2 points) in the 86-66 loss, while starters’ minutes were limited to preserve the team for the playoffs.

Indiana entered the playoffs as the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 Las Vegas Aces in the first round, in a highly anticipated series before the official games begin. Despite last season’s Fever reaching the semifinals despite many injuries — including Clark’s season-ending injury, as she played only 13 regular-season games and missed the playoffs — the star is now healthy and ready for the new challenge in pursuit of the title, Bleacher Report reports again.
