Çitaku meets Hofreiter, seeks increased support from Germany for Kosovo

The Secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, today received the chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs in the German Bundestag, Anton Hofreiter, and his delegation, as Klan Kosova reports.

At the meeting, according to Klan Kosova reporting, current political affairs in Kosovo, Euro-Atlantic integration and the importance of the country’s membership in international organizations, including the Council of Europe, were discussed.

Çitaku asked for Germany’s increased support and attention toward Kosovo in this period of continuing challenges, stressing the importance of close cooperation between the two countries, Klan Kosova reports.

The meeting comes at a moment when Kosovo is aiming to accelerate its Euro-Atlantic path and strengthen its presence in international organizations.
