DP deputy posts footage from the Laws Commission: Propaganda with empty folders

Democratic Party deputy Xhelal Mziu reacted through a post on social media during today’s session of the Laws Commission, where the administrative-territorial reform is being discussed.

Mziu published a video from the meeting, in which he is seen opening several folders placed near the table where the draft law was being presented and showing that they are empty.

“Communist propaganda with empty folders before Parliament!”, the Democratic deputy wrote, accompanying the footage with the comment that “when arguments are missing, empty folders and full propaganda remain”.

Mziu described the situation as “an old show in a new costume”, adding: “a lot of noise, zero content”.

From the footage published by the deputy, it is not made clear why the folders had been placed on the table and whether they were connected to the materials for the presentation of the draft law. It also remains unclear whether the folders were part of the meeting’s documentation or had been placed there for another purpose.
