DPS walks out of Parliament session; Nikolić: We are not boycotting Parliament, but we will not vote with the majority

DPS MPs walked out of the extraordinary session of the Montenegrin Parliament, arguing they did not want to take part in a “farce of parliamentary work.”
DPS MP Andrija Nikolić said the opposition was not boycotting Parliament, but that there would be no cooperation with the parliamentary majority until MPs are allowed to vote on dismissing Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandić.
He also demanded that Mandić state clearly that Ratko Mladić is a war criminal and that genocide occurred in Srebrenica.
Mandić, for his part, said the DPS walkout would not destabilize the parliamentary majority, stressing that Parliament has adopted around 500 laws which, in his view, have brought Montenegro closer to European Union standards.
