Former Justice Minister Andrej Milović summoned by the Special Police Department as a citizen

Former Montenegrin Justice Minister Andrej Milović has been summoned to appear at the offices of the Special Police Department (SPO) as a citizen. The news was announced by Milović himself, who published the summons on the social network X.

“I have been summoned by the SPO, by order of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, to provide information as a citizen tomorrow, September 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.,” Milović wrote. He added that the summons, apart from the case number, does not state which case it concerns, against whom and for which criminal offense — which, according to him, is contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Nevertheless, as a responsible citizen, I will respond to the summons, Milović said, announcing that afterward he will answer the questions of interested media, within the limits allowed by criminal-legal norms.

Andrej Milović was Minister of Justice in the Montenegrin government and is one of the political figures who have often been at the center of public debate on justice and the fight against organized crime.
