French company Sekoia launches its artificial intelligence platform for cybersecurity
The French cybersecurity company Sekoia has launched its artificial intelligence platform ‘Elevate’ for its clients, following a pilot programme with around 2,000 clients, as Reuters reports.
According to Reuters’ reporting, cybercriminals are increasingly using artificial intelligence agents, while cyberattacks are multiplying and changing in scale — a trend that is pushing cybersecurity companies to build AI-powered countermeasures.
‘Elevate’ is a platform that allows clients to connect their preferred AI model and equips it with the tools needed to autonomously analyse cyber threats. Service providers in Europe and the U.S. who tested the tool during the pilot phase reported that investigation times were cut by up to fivefold, the company says, according to Reuters.
Chief executive Freddy Milesi stressed that ‘The model alone is not the moat’ — according to him, what makes AI models effective is ‘the system around it’.
Sekoia was founded in 2022 and counts among its clients giants such as EDF, Vinci and France’s Ministry of the Armed Forces, Reuters writes.
