Gjini on Isufaj’s dismissal: A step towards totalitarianism
The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ardian Gjini, has reacted to the dismissal of the Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution, Blerim Isufaj, describing this decision as one of the most wrong actions of the government.
Gjini has declared that, in his view, Kosovo has taken a step towards totalitarianism, while criticising the current government for the way it is treating the justice institutions.
He accused the government of protecting persons who, in his view, should face justice.
The AAK leader said that citizens will restore, as he put it, democratic governance, institutional responsibility and the rule of law.
Gjini also warned that, in his view, this manner of governing will have a cost for citizens.
