Greiçevci levels accusations at former prosecutor Williamson: More harmful than Dick Marty, he lied about organ trafficking

Lirim Greiçevci, part of the defence team of former President Hashim Thaçi, has reacted to statements by former prosecutor Clint Williamson, accusing him of false statements regarding the investigations into the allegations in Dick Marty’s report, as Telegrafi reports.

In a Facebook post, Greiçevci called Williamson a “fraudulent prosecutor”, saying he is “more harmful than Dick Marty”.

“This fraudulent prosecutor, Clint Williamson, has spoken again. He is more harmful than Dick Marty,” Greiçevci wrote.

According to him, Williamson, after investigations lasting almost three years, had stated at a media conference in Brussels that he had “generally substantiated” the accusations raised in Marty’s report.

Greiçevci claims Williamson had also stated that organ trafficking had occurred in a few limited cases, which, according to him, could be counted “on the fingers of one’s hands”.

“He also lied that he had an indictment ready and was only waiting for the formation of a court,” he wrote.

Referring to the investigation documentation, Greiçevci claims the defence teams have seen the materials left by Williamson and that they, according to him, do not prove organ trafficking.

“He had substantiated nothing, let alone organ trafficking. His phantom indictment was never filed nor confirmed,” Greiçevci declared.

He also mentioned former prosecutor David Schwendiman, claiming the latter had refused to act on the basis of Williamson’s claims.

Meanwhile, of former prosecutor Jack Smith, Greiçevci said he “drew up a completely different indictment”. At the end of the reaction, Greiçevci demanded that Williamson be held to account for his actions.

“Williamson’s lies were used as a hook to impose on Kosovo a judicial structure outside the country, under the threat of its formation by the UN,” he wrote.
