Heated debate in Cërrik Municipal Council, vote against merging with Elbasan (VIDEO)
The meeting of the Cërrik Municipal Council, where the proposal to merge this municipality with Elbasan was discussed as part of the Territorial Reform, was accompanied by heated debate.
In the vote, 11 left-wing councillors abstained, while 7 right-wing councillors voted against merging with Elbasan. Only 2 Socialist Party councillors voted in favour of the proposal.
In the end, the proposal to merge Cërrik with Elbasan did not win a majority of votes in the Municipal Council.
