The U.S. Embassy has issued a reaction regarding Prime Minister Edi Rama’s meeting this Wednesday with the new U.S. Ambassador, Eric Wendt. The Embassy shared images from the meeting, writing that a strong partnership is measured by what two nations achieve together.

In the post, the Embassy stressed that Rama and the ambassador spoke about deepening cooperation in the field of defence, expanding trade and investment. Strengthening the fight against organised crime was also in focus.

“A strong partnership is measured by what two nations achieve together. Ambassador Eric Wendt met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama to discuss deepening cooperation in the field of defence, expanding trade and investment, and strengthening the fight against organised crime,” the Embassy writes.
