Israeli drone strike in al-Mawasi, southern Gaza, kills one Palestinian and wounds five others

At least one Palestinian was killed and five others were wounded by an Israeli drone strike in the al-Mawasi area of southern Gaza, near the city of Khan Younis, as Al Jazeera reports, citing medical sources via the Wafa news agency.

The full details of the incident are still being verified, and there is still no official comment from the Israeli army on the strike.

The strike comes amid fighting that has lasted for months in the enclave, where Israeli attacks have caused new casualties almost every day.
