Jakup Krasniqi’s Son: “I Believe the Verdict Will Be an Acquittal”

“I believe the verdict will be an acquittal,” said Altin Krasniqi, son of Jakup Krasniqi, entering the Special Court building, where today’s verdict for the former KLA leaders is expected.

He said Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi will be cleared of the charges in The Hague and will return free to Kosovo.

According to him, whatever the verdict, he and the Albanian people are proud of the former KLA leaders and their war.

“I believe the verdict will be an acquittal. Whatever the verdict, I am proud of each of them, of the KLA and of everything they have done for us… For us and for them it is great support that the people stand with the KLA. What we wish is for the people to know the value of the KLA,” he said.
