Kusari-Lila Believes the Hague Verdict Can Be Corrected, Calls for Unity and Restraint

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, described the Hague Specialist Chambers’ verdict against the four former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders as heavy and sad.

Kusari-Lila told KP that the verdict can be corrected through further steps, calling for unity and careful planning.

“Yesterday’s verdict was sad and heavy, not only for the citizens of Kosovo but for all Albanians. Still, I also understand the frustration and the protest. What is very important at these moments is to be restrained and to take the right actions that will bring the full and unconditional release of the four KLA leaders, who were unjustly struck by yesterday’s verdict. What happened yesterday can and has room to be corrected, but we must be united, with a clear plan, and naturally plan the next step with great restraint,” said Kusari-Lila.
