Berisha ‘warns’ Peleshi: You have your replacement ready!

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha told Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi that he would step down from his post, but without naming his replacement.

“Niko, there you have your replacement, right there. Niko, I told you your replacement is ready. Yes, yes, they’ll remove him too,” Berisha said in his speech in Parliament.

In recent weeks, two ministers of the Rama cabinet have been changed from the Socialist ranks. Evis resigned from the post of Health Minister and was replaced by Klodiana Spahiu, while Besfort Lamallari was dismissed as Interior Minister to be replaced by Erin Demon.
