“Marubi” exhibition: a decade of creativity and dialogue with photographic heritage

The exhibition “Marubi: The Education Atelier”, curated by Tereza Çuni and Jozefina Vokrri, brings to the National Museum of Photography a decade of creativity, experimentation and education through art.

The exhibition, opened at the “Marubi” Museum, presents a selection of the work developed over ten years in the museum’s Education Atelier, bringing to the public a rich archive of creativity produced by children.

The works intertwine mediums, techniques and different modes of artistic expression, creating a visual vocabulary built through the eye, experience and imagination of children. At the heart of the exhibition is the creative process, where handwork, research and the slow time of creation give space to imagination and experimentation.

“Marubi’s” photography and archive have served over these years as a starting point for knowledge, interpretation and creation. Through them, children have been invited to explore image, memory and photographic heritage, building new forms of communication with history and the past.

The exhibition also testifies to the importance of cultural education and the role museum institutions can play in shaping new generations. The exhibited works reflect not only artistic results but also a long process of learning, research and development of creative and critical thinking.

The exhibition was also presented with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports.
