Sali Berisha admits he paid money to obtain a U.S. visa — reveals who lobbied

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, invited last night on the “Opinion” show, commented on the visit to the U.S.

Berisha admitted that he paid money and lobbied to obtain a visa as well as for the removal of the “Non Grata” designation, but that he has not managed to remove the latter.

“‘Continental’ lobbied. They have things separated: if you deal with lobbying, you must register in court. The law is very strict there. LaCivita had nothing to do with it.

I can say, since you ask me, it was the lowest price ever paid by a person. ‘Continental’ is legal and I believe it lobbied at the State Department. The decision was made at the U.S. Department of State and it was the secretary’s decision,” Berisha said.

The Democratic leader also said he sent a letter to President Trump when the latter was in opposition, which he said he has read.

“I sent an informative letter to Trump when he was in opposition. As I sent to all the leaders I knew who had weight, and I am sure the letter reached him. I informed him with a letter and I am sure he read that letter. A well-known person told me this,” Berisha said.
