Muriqi: I take responsibility for the defeat, I believe in this team

Kosovo captain Vedat Muriqi has taken responsibility for the defeat against Austria.

Kosovo lost 3-1 to Austria in Vienna.

Muriqi spoke after the match, saying he takes responsibility for the defeat.

“I take responsibility for this defeat as captain. We have the next match and we will see what happens. I believe in this team,” he said.

Kosovo has three points from two matches, after the win against Ireland and the defeat by Austria.

In the next match, Kosovo plays against Israel on October 1.

Kosovo will play Austria again on October 4 in Pristina.
