New York Knicks 2026–27 Ticket Prices Surge After First Title in 53 Years

The New York Knicks won their first NBA title in 53 years this summer, and the effects are already visible on the ticket market: demand has surged to the point that fans will find it harder to find affordable seats when the 2026–27 season tips off in October.

According to Bleacher Report, ticket prices for home games rose ahead of the season. For the opener against the Philadelphia 76ers, the cheapest entry is $1,314, reaching up to $52,650 across ticket resale sites. For the Finals rematch against the San Antonio Spurs on Christmas Day, the minimum entry price is $556, while the maximum reaches $60,500.

StubHub is reportedly listing prices 60 percent higher than at this time last year, while ticket searches are up 174 percent. In addition, 67 percent of ticket purchases come from returning fans — a 55 percent increase compared to last year. Finals MVP Jalen Brunson led the Knicks on a brilliant playoff run that ended with the win over Victor Wembanyama’s Spurs; whether they can defend the title remains unclear, but interest in their games is expected to stay high all season.
