Nufi at Central Europe and regional Defense Ministerial: closer coordination among allies

Defense Minister Ermal Nufi took part in the Central European Defense Cooperation (CEDC) and Western Balkans Defense Ministerial, held in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia, focused on strengthening defense and security cooperation and addressing common challenges in today’s security environment.

During the ministerial, Nufi stressed the importance of further deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation, underlining Albania’s commitment to continuing its active contribution to joint regional and international initiatives.

“Albania continues unwaveringly and actively its contribution to every joint regional and international initiative. The Balkan Medical Task Force is one of them, as a successful example of regional cooperation, capacity development and interoperability toward Euro-Atlantic integration. In an increasingly complex security environment, the need for the closest possible coordination among allies and partners remains a priority, with the aim of strengthening collective defense and guaranteeing peace,” Nufi said.
