Overnight crash in Fushë-Krujë kills one, injures two; police release first details — the victim was 19

A serious crash was recorded around midnight on the Fushë-Krujë–Krujë road, near the village of Kamberas, where three vehicles collided with one another.

Three people were seriously injured in the crash and were transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

According to police information, one of the young men, identified by the initials L.Z., died, while the other two are in serious condition.

The injured were taken to the hospital partly in police vehicles, given the severity of their condition.

One of the drivers involved in the crash has been escorted to the police station, while the investigative team is working to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.

Preliminary suspicions are that the crash may have been caused by a wet road and high speed.

The vehicles involved were a Mercedes-Benz with license plate AC 034 AU, an Audi with plate AB 861 EY, and a Volkswagen Passat with plate AB 786 ZC.
