Prishtina protests again tonight, citizens gather in support of former KLA leaders

Thousands of citizens gathered tonight in “Skënderbeu” Square in Prishtina, in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

The protest is expected to begin in the coming minutes, while a large number of participants have already gathered in the square.

The rally is held in opposition to the verdict of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, by which the former KLA leaders were sentenced to a total of 81 years in prison.

Speeches by organizers and participants are also expected during the protest.

Protests against the verdict were also held during the day in Skopje, while similar rallies took place in Melbourne, Australia, Oslo, Norway, Geneva, Switzerland and other cities around the world.

Meanwhile, fan groups protested earlier today in Prishtina against the decision of the Specialist Chambers against the four former KLA leaders, Telegrafi reports.
