Rachel Zegler returns to London with first concert residency: “Live in London” at @sohoplace from January 5
Rachel Zegler is returning to London. As WhatsOnStage reports, the “West Side Story” star and Golden Globe winner will hold her first concert residency, “Rachel Zegler – Live in London”, at the @sohoplace theatre from January 5 to 17, 2027 — the most intimate shows she has ever given, in an auditorium where no seat is more than six rows from the stage.
The concert is produced by Lambert Jackson, with musical supervision and arrangements by Adam Hoskins. “It’s another wonderful step in our partnership — bringing Rachel back to London, the city that gave her so much love during ‘Evita’, solo concerts and ‘The Last Five Years’,” said Jamie Lambert, Lambert Jackson’s chief executive. Producer Nica Burns added that @sohoplace welcomes the “extraordinarily talented artist” for the first concert residency in its history.
The return comes after a triumphant London summer: Zegler won the Olivier Award and the WhatsOnStage Award for playing Eva Perón in Jamie Lloyd’s revival of “Evita”, performed sold-out concerts at the London Palladium, and appeared as Cathy Hiatt in the concert version of Jason Robert Brown’s “The Last Five Years”. The actress, also known as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” and as Snow White in Disney’s live-action version, is meanwhile preparing to return as Eva Perón on Broadway when “Evita” transfers to New York in February 2027.
Tickets: pre-sale registration for the @sohoplace newsletter closes tonight (September 29) at 23:00; pre-sale starts tomorrow, September 30, at 10:00, while general sale opens the same day at noon. Orders are limited to a maximum of four tickets.
