Russian missile strikes hit Kyiv overnight: power outages in parts of the capital, at least one injured
Russia struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight on September 29–30, causing power outages in several parts of the Ukrainian capital and injuring at least one person, Ukrainian officials said this morning.
According to Kyiv’s military administration, which announced the news on its Telegram channel, at least one person was injured in the missile attacks, as Sweden Herald reports, publishing reports from the TT News Agency. The missile strikes cut electricity supplies in several parts of the city, the paper reports.
Journalists from The Kyiv Independent reporting from the ground said ballistic missile explosions shook the Ukrainian capital during the night of September 30 and cut power in several districts of the city.
This marks another consecutive night on which Russia has attacked the Ukrainian capital, the paper reports further, signalling a continued intensification of bombardments against Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities ahead of the winter months.
