Selling cocaine and cannabis at the bar where he worked as a waiter: 18-year-old arrested in Elbasan

Three people were arrested in Elbasan as part of the anti-drug operation codenamed “Roli”, after they were suspected of preparing and selling doses of cocaine and Cannabis Sativa.

According to police, an 18-year-old carried out the activity at the bar where he worked as a waiter and at his home, in cooperation with his brother and the person who had rented the bar in the village of Mjekës.

During the checks, police seized dozens of doses of narcotics, 6 grinders, 3 electronic scales, 2 mobile phones and a metal baton.

He prepared and sold doses of cocaine and cannabis at the bar where he was employed as a waiter, and at his home, together with his brother; the 18-year-old was arrested.

Also in handcuffs: the 18-year-old’s brother and the citizen who had rented the bar adapted for this criminal activity.

Dozens of doses of narcotics, 6 plant-material grinders, 3 electronic scales, 2 mobile phones and 1 metal baton were seized.

As a result of intensive investigative and operational actions carried out by specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Operational Support Section for Investigations, and directed by the Elbasan Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of documenting the criminal activity of 3 citizens who, in cooperation, sold narcotic substances in doses, the operation codenamed “Roli” was finalized.

During the operation it was found that a bar in the village of Mjekës had been made available for the preparation, division into doses and sale of the narcotic substances cocaine and Cannabis Sativa.

In the continuation of the procedural actions, the citizen who had rented the bar and the waiter were arrested: D. R., 26 years old, and L. Q., 18 years old, both residents of the village of Mjekës. During checks at the bar premises, doses of these substances were found, as well as tools used for preparing the doses.

Furthermore, a check was carried out at the 18-year-old’s home, where quantities and doses of the suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa were found, as well as a metal baton, suspected to be in the possession of the 18-year-old’s brother, citizen E. Q., 24 years old, who at the end of the procedural actions was arrested for the criminal offenses of “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons.”

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further actions.
