Sentenced to six years for drug trafficking, wanted 41-year-old arrested in Krujë

A 41-year-old has been arrested by police in Krujë. His arrest came after he was declared wanted for producing and selling narcotics. The detainee was identified as Agim Xhixha.

According to the police announcement, he was sentenced by the Tirana Court to 6 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense of “production and sale of narcotics, committed in collaboration.”

“Krujë: the operation codenamed ‘Larushku,’ to capture a wanted citizen, is finalized. A 41-year-old, sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment for production and sale of narcotics, is located and detained.

“As a result of the swift administration of information secured during operational work on the whereabouts of a wanted citizen, the services of the Fushë Krujë Police Station finalized the operation codenamed ‘Larushku.’

“During the operation, citizen Agim Xhixha, 41, resident of Larushk i Sipërm, Fushë Krujë, was located, captured and arrested.

“The 41-year-old had been declared wanted after the Tirana Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction sentenced him to 6 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense of ‘production and sale of narcotics, committed in collaboration.’ The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action,” police announced.
