Shkodër, 2 arrests and 13 proceedings in one week by the Traffic Police

The Shkodër Traffic Police announces that it has intensified checks on all axes of the district, focusing on accident prevention and traffic management.

During one week of monitoring, 2 people were arrested in flagrante and 13 others were criminally proceeded against for the criminal offense of “Driving vehicles irregularly”.

In the same period, 916 administrative measures were imposed for various violations of the Road Code. Among them, 172 measures were for speeding, 31 for wrong overtaking, 8 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 60 for not wearing helmets and 357 for wrong parking or stopping.

Measures were also imposed for using a mobile phone while driving, not wearing a seatbelt, not giving priority to pedestrians, driving with tinted windows and other traffic rule violations.
