Summer Festival in Berat, a union of tradition and friends from Kosovo and the Arbëresh community

Berat has become a meeting point for wine, tradition and Albanian culture, through the fifth edition of the Summer Festival, "Wine and Stories", which has gathered hundreds of local and foreign citizens and tourists.

In a post on social media, Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images from the event, in which Albanian wineries take part, together with wineries from Kosovo and representatives of the Arbëresh community of Italy.

"The Summer Festival in Berat is a beautiful example: Albanian wines, tradition and friends from Kosovo and the Arbëresh community, all together around an identity that creates value. More local identity. More local economy. More Albania to discover," Rama writes.

"Wine & Stories" gathered hundreds of visitors, who enjoyed quality Albanian wines, music, artistic performances and stories that bring the history of the museum city.

The festival aims to promote Albanian wine alongside Berat’s tradition and cultural heritage, contributing to the development of experience tourism and agritourism in the area.
