Supreme Court extends detention of three suspects who aided killers of Vesković until December 28

The Council of the Supreme Court of Montenegro has extended the detention of Ernes Nokiqi, Haris Mujeviqi and Aldin Mujeviqi for three more months — until December 28, 2026. They are suspected of having aided the murder of Darko Vesković, known as Prika, killed on June 22 in Belgrade.

According to the investigation, on June 23, 2026, in Rožaje, the suspects gave assistance to N.K. and D.D., who are suspected of having committed the aggravated murder in Belgrade a day earlier — providing them with shelter and transport on Montenegrin territory.

Nokiqi is suspected of having rented an apartment in Podgorica, while Haris and Aldin Mujeviqi transported the suspected killers by car and sheltered them in that apartment.

The court assessed that there is a flight risk for the suspects, hence the decision to extend detention. The measure was initially ordered by the investigative judge of the High Court in Bijelo Polje on July 1, 2026 and was later extended on July 27.
