“This Parliament must disappear as soon as possible” – Berisha erupts with threats from Parliament’s rostrum: Shut up, don’t speak
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, levelled accusations in Parliament over the stances taken toward the former head of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni.
During his speech, Berisha declared that “Parliament must disappear as soon as possible, since it tramples on every interest of the Albanians”.
“In an institution of shame that is serving, in absolute actions, the narco-regime, the narco-state, the first and only one in Europe, the godfather of Albania. For every Albanian citizen, patriot, regardless of his convictions, the most fundamental issue is how the pyramid of their security was totally exposed as a pyramid of the narco-state, of crime, of the drug cartels.
You, instead of moving everything off the agenda and bringing here the debate on the final, fatal blow dealt to the Albanian state by the narco-state, the final annihilation of the Albanian state by Rama’s narco-state. You pretend to shed crocodile tears for those citizens who hate you, whom you despise, whom you rob, robbed and impoverished by your rulers, whom you defend here for the thefts they have committed. There has never been a Parliament as disfigured as this Parliament.
What are you, lawyers for such acts, when part of you yourselves are members of gangs? Now you become lawyers for Vlora Hyseni. SHISH is an institution, not a person. You put yourselves above the interests of the Albanians. The head of the intelligence service is recruited by mafias. Where do you find this morality? Slaves of the godfather, this Parliament must disappear as soon as possible; it does not represent, but tramples on, every interest of the Albanians. How can this be?! (Addressing the socialist side in the chamber) Shut up, don’t you speak there. Drop those hysterical stances,” Berisha said from the rostrum.
