University of Vlora starts new academic year, 10 programmes in English planned

The new academic year has also started at the “Ismail Qemali” University of Vlora. According to the university’s preliminary data, the number of students is expected to be at similar levels to last year, while the final figures are expected to be confirmed in due course.

One of the novelties of this academic year is the expansion of the offer for foreign students. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the university has planned 10 study programmes offered in English, amid growing interest from international students.

The new programmes include different fields, from engineering and healthcare to languages and marine environmental studies.

With this offer, the “Ismail Qemali” University aims to strengthen its international profile and create more opportunities for students from Albania and abroad.
