Vlora: stole the supermarket cash register after breaking the glass, 32-year-old arrested

A 32-year-old has been arrested in Vlora after allegedly breaking the glass door of a supermarket and stealing the cash register with a sum of money.

The incident happened overnight at a supermarket in the “Bashkimi” neighborhood. After the theft was reported, police organized the codenamed operation “Reagimi” (Reaction), making it possible to identify and capture the suspected perpetrator.

According to police, the stolen cash register was found and seized as material evidence. The 32-year-old is charged with the criminal offenses of “Theft” and “Destruction of property.”

He broke the glass door of a supermarket and stole the cash register with a sum of money; the 32-year-old is identified and handcuffed.

Crime Investigation Specialists at the Vlora Police Commissariat, after receiving the report that overnight, at a supermarket in the “Bashkimi” neighborhood, the glass door had been broken and the cash register with a sum of money stolen, immediately organized and finalized the codenamed police operation “Reagimi.”

As a result of swift investigative actions and evidence secured during the investigation, it became possible to identify, locate and capture the suspected perpetrator, citizen E. B., 32, resident of Vlora.

Police services found and seized, as material evidence, the cash register that this citizen stole from the supermarket.

Following procedural actions, the 32-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of “Theft” and “Destruction of property.”

Meanwhile, in cooperation with the Prosecution, work continues to clarify other thefts suspected to have been committed by this citizen.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Vlora Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction for further action.
