“Vote for my President, I’ll vote for the law”, Deliu-Kodra: Kurti made his vote for the Specialist Chambers law conditional

PDK MP Blerta Deliu-Kodra has declared that in the talks between PDK chairman Bedri Hamza and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the vote on the Specialist Chambers Law was also discussed, as Telegrafi reports.

According to Deliu-Kodra, Kurti made his support for the law at second reading conditional on the vote for the country’s president.

“Vote for my President, I’ll vote for the law,” Deliu-Kodra wrote, describing this as political conditioning over an issue which, according to her, is connected with the Kosovo Liberation Army.

She raised the question of why the vote for the Specialist Chambers Law should be linked to the issue of electing the president.

“You say the KLA belongs to everyone. Then why does your vote for the law depend on what you get for yourselves?” she declared.

Deliu-Kodra demanded that the law be voted on without political conditions.

“Vote for the law without putting a price on it!” she concluded.
