Warriors’ Jimmy Butler shows off earrings on NBA Media Day as accessory trend continues

Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler showed off earrings during NBA Media Day as he spoke to reporters, even though he is not expected to be ready for the season opener. Butler is known as one of the league’s most style-conscious players and is a six-time All-Star.

As Bleacher Report notes, he wore a visible accessory during his press availability, continuing the tradition of players using Media Day to showcase their style choices.

During the day’s sessions, it was suggested that the Warriors — or league officials — may have preferred he remove the earring, while Butler himself might have gone for an even more extravagant look. His appearance recalled some of the best-known moments of his career, including the “Emo Jimmy” look from his time with the Miami Heat.

The episode shows that accessory trends remain part of NBA Media Day, according to Bleacher Report.
