35-year-old arrested for theft goes viral over ‘uncanny’ resemblance to pop diva Jennifer Lopez

A 35-year-old Minnesota woman has gone viral on social media after her arrest for theft — but what grabbed the most attention was her striking resemblance to singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.

Sirena Ann Quast’s mugshot was widely shared online after numerous users noticed her likeness to the 57-year-old star.

Quast was arrested on August 30 in Monticello, Minnesota, on suspicion of stealing two packs of power-tool batteries with a total value of around $580. According to the criminal complaint cited by The Watch MN, a store employee recognized the 35-year-old from a theft two days earlier and notified police. According to arrest records, Quast admitted taking the batteries and was arrested on suspicion of theft. Her post-arrest photo, however, turned out to be the main reason the story caught fire online.
