She resigned as Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt will join Fox News

Karoline Leavitt, who resigned as White House press secretary in August, will join Fox News as an on-air contributor.

Leavitt, who was the youngest press secretary in White House history, left the administration after the birth of her second child earlier this year. She said at the time that she planned to spend more time with her family and to take a role at MAGA Inc., the Super PAC linked to Trump.

When she announced her pregnancy in December, she became the first serving White House press secretary to do so. During her tenure, Leavitt tried to reshape the White House media landscape.

She tried to exercise greater control over the press pool, the small group of reporters who closely follow the president’s daily activities; created a seat in the briefing room for “new media”, often filled with conservative commentators and pro-Trump personalities; and often clashed with reporters.
