Aleksandar Pavić to Run on the ‘Authentic Right’ List in Oct. 25 Elections

Political scientist and member of the Serbian Parliament Aleksandar Pavić will run in the Oct. 25 elections on the “Autentična desnica – dr Miloš Jovanović” list, announced today the Nova Demokratska stranka Srbije (New DSS), which is participating in the elections in coalition with the Movement for the Kingdom of Serbia – Monarchists.

Pavić, who in March left the parliamentary group and the “Mi – snaga naroda” movement of Branimir Nestorović, said the authentic right offers “clear positions” on Kosovo and Metohija, the EU, Republika Srpska, cooperation with Russia, China and BRICS, social policy, as well as on the departization and decriminalization of society.

“There is no other party or coalition in these elections that offers such answers. Nationalist voters, who are numerous in Serbia, by voting for us, will certainly not get ‘a cat in a bag’,” Pavić said.

He added that he accepted the list’s offer because he is interested above all in the parliament being represented by “an option with a clear and nationally oriented policy”. According to him, citizens of Serbia are currently offered a referendum atmosphere where there is no room for political differences, and the state should not enter a binary model — there must be room for other options too.
