Balla: On Thursday we vote on the territorial reform, all SP MPs must vote in favour

The head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, declared that on Thursday the majority in the Assembly will vote to approve the territorial reform.

Speaking to journalists, Balla said that the country needs stronger municipalities, which have higher revenues.

“We will vote on Thursday in plenary session on the territorial reform, and all Socialist Party deputies must vote in favour,” Balla said.

He called on the Democratic Party to take part in the discussions on this issue.

The head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group also emphasised that the reform aims to create more efficient municipalities, capable of offering better services to citizens.
