Eliza Hoxha after the declaration’s approval: the KLA must be seen beyond party trenches

Kosovo Democratic Party MP Eliza Hoxha has commented on the declaration adopted by the Kosovo Assembly on the Hague Specialist Chambers’ verdict against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, speaking on Klan Kosova’s “Special Edition”, as Klan Kosova reports.

According to her, the declaration was supplemented with ideas and demands from all parliamentary groups, while the “main dough” of the text stayed where it was. She said she was pleased the text found agreement among all groups, speaking of inclusiveness both in content and in unity within the parliamentary groups.

Hoxha stressed that the declaration was voted by all deputies present in the chamber, and repeated the call made over the years: the KLA must be seen beyond party trenches, beyond political colors and daily battles.

In her view, the declaration’s approval is an important step, while institutions must take further action in support of the former KLA leaders in The Hague.
