Former Fier Cadastre Chief and Businessman Arrested Over Suspected Property Forgery in Seman

The former head of the Fier Cadastre, Ertis Shehu, and businessman Kastriot Hasko have been arrested by the State Police on the order of the Fier Prosecutor’s Office.

Sources told Report Tv that the arrests were carried out as part of an investigation into a suspected case of property document forgery in Seman.

Shehu and Hasko had been under investigation by the Fier Prosecutor’s Office for months, and the arrest warrants were executed on Wednesday evening in Tirana.

New details are expected regarding the investigation and the involvement of the former cadastre official.

Ertis Shehu served as director of the Fier local directorate of the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) from 2019 to 2021 — about two years.

His appointment came during the reform that restructured property registration offices and created the ASHK.
