Gucati: I believe the Specialist Chambers draft law will also pass in second reading

The head of the Organisation of War Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Hysni Gucati, has stated that he is convinced the draft law amending and supplementing the Law on the Specialist Chambers will also be adopted in second reading, as Telegrafi reports.

Gucati welcomed the passage of the draft law in first reading with 91 votes, saying that what now remains is to wait for the second vote.

“What matters is that the Law passed with 91 votes. Whoever has no votes, let it remain on their conscience. Now we are also waiting for the second reading, for it to pass in second reading as well,” Gucati declared.

He announced that he has not held talks with MPs to receive signals about the upcoming vote.

“I have not spoken with any MP and I have received no signals from anyone,” he said.

Gucati stressed that the KLA War Veterans’ Organisation came out publicly to give courage to the MPs to support the draft law.

“We came out to give courage to all the MPs to vote for the law amending and supplementing the Specialist Court,” he said.

The head of the KLA War Veterans’ Organisation expressed his conviction that the draft law will receive the necessary support in the second vote as well.

“I am convinced that today it will also pass in the second reading,” Gucati declared.
