Hamza on Flora Brovina’s Death: A Symbol of Resilience and Love for the Homeland

Democratic Party of Kosovo leader Bedri Hamza has reacted to the death of the party’s former MP, Flora Brovina.

Through a Facebook post, Hamza described Brovina as a strong woman, doctor, intellectual and activist who, according to him, devoted her whole life to Kosovo and its citizens.

“Today Flora Brovina left us. A strong woman, a mother, doctor, intellectual and activist who devoted her whole life to Kosovo and its citizens has left us,” Hamza wrote.

He said that Brovina never bowed before difficulties and that for PDK and the people who knew her, she will remain a symbol of resilience and love for the homeland.

“Flora never bowed before difficulties. She stood with dignity, courage and dedication until the end of her life. For me, for PDK and for all those who had the fortune to know her, she will remain forever a symbol of resilience and love for the homeland,” Hamza stated.

The PDK leader said that words are few to describe her loss, while expressing condolences to the family, friends and all those who knew Brovina.

“Words are few for her loss. Rest in peace, Florë!” Hamza wrote.

“In my name and that of PDK, to which she gave so much, my sincerest condolences to the family, friends and all those who knew her. Eternal respect and gratitude for Flora Brovina!” he concluded.
