A few days ago, lawyer Alban Duraj, appearing on the “Breaking me Fiori Dardha” show, spoke about the Bleona Mata case, saying she had been found and adopted by a Greek couple. According to him, he received this information from a communication with Bleona’s mother, Bukurie.

These statements were immediately denied by the family’s lawyer, Idajet Beqiri. For the “Shqipëria Live” show, he said Duraj’s statements were irresponsible and that he had no connection to the case in question.

Today, lawyer Duraj and Mrs. Bukurie faced each other. In a live link with the “Ftesë në 5” show with Bieta Sulo, Bleona’s mother said she was shocked by the statements in question.

“I am shocked by a lawyer, Alban Duraj, who has spoken in the name of a mother, that he contacted Bleona’s mother, that Bleona is an excellent student. I am a mother who faces injustice, I stand only with the truth. I have had no phone call with this man, nothing. The lawyer should do tireless, clean and truthful work. Not to hurt — they poison me every day. How is it possible to speak in the name of a mother,” said Mrs. Bukurie.

On the other hand, lawyer Duraj says he quoted exactly what Mrs. Bukurie told him.

“I have it recorded, we were invited to a show on RTSH, I was invited as an expert. I never presented myself as the lady’s lawyer. But this provoked the reaction of Mrs. Bukurie and her representatives. I have always corrected them when they introduced me as the family’s lawyer. I was invited and, when I had the opportunity, I see it as a moral duty, not just as a lawyer, to give my opinion. A lot of mud has been thrown at me. Secondly, Mrs. Bukurie said yesterday that she doesn’t know me. I sent the link to your coordinator for the show. We discussed during the show, in publicity and after the show ended. I offered my contribution. Mrs. Bukurie thanked me,” Duraj said.

But Bleona’s mother again stood by her word that she does not know the lawyer in question and has never spoken to him.

“I have not communicated with you. Admit it, clear your conscience, you have not communicated with me through Flori Gjini, I will press criminal charges against you. You are irresponsible,” said Mrs. Bukurie.

“Please Mrs. Bukurie, I don’t want to argue with you. You accuse me of clickbait, but that’s not the case. The whole purpose was not to benefit from you, get that out of your mind. Only based on what we discussed on that show, you told me about conversations with a journalist. I asked for Mrs. Bukurie so that she would have financial support. My goal is not protagonism as the family’s lawyer says,” lawyer Duraj concluded.
