Interior Ministry: 20-year-old who threw “Molotov cocktail” outside hotel in New Belgrade arrested
Serbia’s Interior Ministry announced today the arrest of a young man suspected of causing a general danger, after he threw a “Molotov cocktail” outside a hotel in New Belgrade.
According to the Interior Ministry, the suspect Đ.I. (20) threw the improvised incendiary device on August 26 outside the “New Belgrade Premium” hotel.
He has been ordered into 48-hour detention, after which he will be brought before the Third Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade for further proceedings.
The case is being investigated as the criminal offense of causing a general danger.
