Italy win and convince, four goals past Turkey

Mancini’s Italy put the defeat and poor performance against Belgium behind them, winning 4-1 in Bursa against Montella’s Turkey. The Azzurri dominated the first half, breaking the deadlock through Bastoni, doubling the lead with Frattesi and all but sealing the win with Kayode.

In the second half, Turkey started well and scored through Yilmaz, but the Italians completed the “poker” through Pio Esposito. The Azzurri then managed the game and took three valuable points.

Italy won 4-1 and climbed to 3 points. On Friday they face France, the favorites to win Group 1.
