Kujtim Shala: The government was elected by an unconstituted Parliament
Kujtim Shala, a deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has contested the constitutionality of the new Government elected by the Kosovo Parliament.
In a statement to Telegrafi, Shala said the Government was voted by a Parliament that, according to him, is not yet fully constituted.
“The government was elected by an unconstituted Parliament, so it is not a constitutional government,” Shala stated.
He referred to the Constitution of Kosovo, emphasizing that the Parliament is considered constituted only after the election of the speaker and all deputy speakers.
