Mamdani fires back at Netanyahu’s accusations made in his UN speech

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani responded to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations, which included accusations of antisemitism and distortion of facts about Israel.

“As he has repeatedly done, Prime Minister Netanyahu used his speech to repeat baseless lies aimed at sanitizing his genocide against the Palestinians. However, no lie can change the fact that he remains subject to an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court alleging war crimes and crimes against humanity,” Mamdani said in his statement.

The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu, but the United States is not a member of the court and had made clear it would not arrest Netanyahu.
