Musliu: Government Building Should Be Lit Up With the Message ‘NOT IN MY NAME!’

PDK MP Ganimete Musliu has called for the Government building of the Republic of Kosovo to be lit up urgently with the message “NOT IN MY NAME!”, in connection with the Special Court’s verdict in The Hague against former KLA leaders.

Musliu made the request through a Facebook post, stressing that the court’s verdict must not be attributed to the people of Kosovo and that it does not represent the sacrifice of those who fought for the country’s freedom.

“The Special Court’s verdict in The Hague must not be attributed to the people of Kosovo. It is not in the name of those who fought for Kosovo’s freedom. It is not in the name of those who lost their loved ones. It is not in the name of the sacrifice that brought freedom,” the MP wrote.

She stressed that a judicial verdict must not define Kosovo’s history in the name of a people: “And above all, we must not allow a judicial verdict to write our history in the name of a people who know what they have lived through. NOT IN MY NAME!”
