“Not in my name” protest in Gjakova too: Mother Ferdonije Qerkezi joins the march

Tonight in Gjakova a protest was held against the guilty verdict for the leaders of the KLA, called by the “Kuqezinjtë e Jakovës”, as KosovaPress reports. Citizens gathered in the city center to express support for the liberators in The Hague.

According to KosovaPress, many citizens joined the “Not in my name” protest march, protesting against the unjust sentencing of the liberators, with Albanian flags and flares in their hands.

As KosovaPress further reports, Mother Ferdonije Qerkezi also took part in the protest, who during the war in Kosovo lost her husband and four sons.

Tonight’s protest in Gjakova concluded with flares, in a sign of solidarity with the former KLA leaders.
